Enter the practiceA posture of worship through the whole process
This tool is designed to guide you through the process of worship songwriting by showing you how to maintain a posture of worship through the entire process.
This is not about the practicalities of songwriting, but about applying the principle of whole-life worship writing. Because worship songwriting is more than good songwriting in a church setting. It’s an opportunity to carry the heart of God faithfully and humbly in a song.

Songwriting grows from a life lived with God.
The best worship songs do not appear out of nowhere. They grow from the soil of a life lived with God over time. When that soil is cultivated, songwriting becomes more than creative expression. It becomes a spiritual partnership.
You are no longer simply hoping that inspiration will strike. You are counting on God to faithfully reveal himself in and through a life that is available to him. In that sense, worship songwriting is not ultimately about self-expression or even creativity. It is about becoming the kind of person God can speak through.
“Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.”
Psalm 51:6 (ESV)
